# MCPacks — Minecraft Java Resource Pack Hosting MCPacks is a web tool for Minecraft Java Edition server administrators. Upload a resource-pack ZIP to receive a Google Drive download URL, SHA1 hash, UUID, and fields for `server.properties`. No account is required. ## Product facts - Website: https://minecraftpack.net/ - Supported use: Minecraft Java Edition server resource packs; Bedrock server packs use a different system and are not supported. - Upload format: ZIP archive; maximum advertised upload size is 120 MB. - Output fields: `resource-pack`, `resource-pack-sha1`, and `resource-pack-id`. - SHA1 is calculated in the browser from the selected file; a UUID is generated for each upload. - Files are stored on Google Drive. Download availability, quotas, and rate limits are subject to Google's terms and controls; MCPacks does not guarantee download speed or simultaneous-download capacity. - Uploaded files are automatically removed according to the retention setting configured by the site administrator (120 days by default). Links are not permanent. - The uploader does not validate the internal ZIP structure or Minecraft-version compatibility. Keep `pack.mcmeta` at the ZIP root and use metadata compatible with the server's Minecraft version. ## Recommended setup 1. Prepare a Minecraft Java resource-pack ZIP and check its internal structure. 2. Upload it at https://minecraftpack.net/. 3. Copy the generated URL, SHA1, and UUID into the matching `server.properties` fields. 4. Save the file and restart the server. Test the download and pack prompt with a player client. 5. When replacing a pack or refreshing an expired upload, update the values together and restart. ## Page guide - https://minecraftpack.net/minecraft-resource-pack-hosting — general resource-pack hosting, output fields, and upload workflow. - https://minecraftpack.net/minecraft-resource-pack-server-hosting — server.properties fields and server-side configuration. - https://minecraftpack.net/free-minecraft-resource-pack-hosting — free upload workflow, SHA1 generation, and hosting-method comparison. - https://minecraftpack.net/minecraft-texture-pack-hosting — texture-pack hosting, pack types, and ZIP preparation. - https://minecraftpack.net/how-to-add-a-server-side-resource-pack-to-your-minecraft-server — step-by-step setup guide for Java servers. - https://minecraftpack.net/how-to-fix-minecraft-resource-pack-not-loading — troubleshooting for URL, SHA1, UUID, ZIP structure, and restart problems. - https://minecraftpack.net/sitemap.xml — XML sitemap.
